Black Opal and silver pendant
Black opals are exceptionally rare in that they are known to form in only one place: Australia. In fact, most of the opals found on the continent are from the town of Lightning Ridge.
This amazing black Opal stone has an amazing glow. A teardrop shaped stone has deep blues with a deep flash inside. It’s set in fine and sterling silver. Three little sterling ball embellishments sit at the bottom of the stone.
It’s oxidized, tumbled and polished It hangs on a dainty oxidized sterling silver chain which is 18” long.
