Black Opal and silver pendant
Black opals are exceptionally rare in that they are known to form in only one place: Australia. In fact, most of the opals found on the continent are from the town of Lightning Ridge.
This amazing black Opal stone has an amazing glow. An oval shaped stone has deep blues with a deep flash inside. It’s set in fine and sterling silver. Three little sterling ball embellishments sit at the bottom of the stone.
It’s oxidized, tumbled and polished It hangs on a dainty sterling silver chain which is 17” long.
